Due to sudden staff illness, we have an immediate need for more volunteer homing officers

As homing officer, you will be vetting people to check that they are suitable to take on an animal; and advising them of changes they might need to make to provide a safe and welcoming home for their new pet. So this is a responsible, but very enjoyable job, for which you will be fully trained.

You are the one who takes the cat to the new home for the first time: and sees at first-hand the joy of the new owners as the new arrival takes his first few tentative steps around – and then usually seeks a safe corner behind the sofa.
