How you can help

Volunteers

We are always looking for reliable and enthusiastic people who are prepared to offer us some of their spare time to help in the following fields:

  • Corporate Fundraisers – We are especially looking for experienced fundraisers with a business background and useful contacts.
  • Fundraisers - We also need people with enthusiasm to organise special one-off events: coffee mornings, car-boot sales etc.
  • Homing Officers – If you have a car, we will happily train you to help us in this very important and enjoyable role.
  • Designer/cartoonist - We would like to redesign our brochures.
  • Drivers – We are absolutely desperate for drivers for both local and national runs. This could be trips to the vet or delivering animals to a sanctuary. Petrol costs will be paid.
  • Cat catchers – Do something different in your spare time and join our team on urban safari, catching the feral cats of North London. We will train you in this specialised and rewarding work, which requires patience combined with a spirit of adventure! Once again you will need to have your own car.
  • Reiki Healers – we are always keen to hear from qualified healers who wish to offer their services.

Donations & Legacies

tortoiseshell cat

Without donations we would not exist. We are a small, independent charity, in receipt of no governmental grants, and therefore completely dependent on the generosity of well-wishers.

Any donations will be used to help needy animals. Please see the Donate page for full details.

Legacies allow us to plan for the future. If you would like to speak to us about a possible legacy, then please don't hesitate to contact us.

Cats and Kittens

Offering a safe, happy home for one of our animals is always an invaluable way you can help.

Find out all the details at Give a cat a home.

Feral Cats

We are always looking for suitable outlets for our feral cats that cannot be returned to site. Typically, we look for a safe environment where they can be fed, sheltered and monitored on a regular basis without intrusion into their lifestyle. Feral cats are not friendly and approachable animals and a suitable home would be something like a working stable where the cats can be used to help control rat and mice infestation. Should you be able to take any of our feral cats we would continue to offer an after care service whereby we would take care of the animal should it become sick or need our help.

Temporary Homes

Occasionally we need to find temporary foster homes for our animals – this could be in order to isolate an animal from the rest of the cattery or maybe to allow someone with time on their hands to invest in taming timid kittens.

If you think you may be able to assist us in any of these ways, please contact us.
