Our cats

Welcome to our latest arrivals - showing photos of some of our cats and kittens still waiting for good homes at time of "going to press".

Please note that by the time you see these photos we cannot guarantee that a particular cat or kitten will still be available. But we always have plenty of others like the ones in these photos who are waiting NOW to be rehomed. By the way our kittens are kept in spacious pens in our smaller cattery - since they are normally homed very quickly - whereas our adult cats who are ready to home are normally free in our larger cattery.

If you can offer a good home to one or more of our cats, please don't hesitate to contact us.

(Take a look through our cat gallery for cats we have rehomed in the past).

Bluebell - 2 ½ years old

Bluebell is such a little sweetheart and a favourite at the Animal Hostel Trust. She isn't keen on other cats but she keeps herself to herself and loves a fuss; sometimes even rolling over for her belly to be tickled. She would make a lovely pet but can be a bit nervous at times, which doesn't show her off the best of her ability when people come to see her, which is such a shame. A home with no children would be perfect and anyone who takes her on will be extremely lucky to have her as part of their family.

Katmando - 3 years old

Kat was very grumpy and walked around moaning when she first came into the Animal Hostel Trust and she didn't like the other cats at all but that all changed when a kitten come to stay; Kat got rather attached and would play with the kitten. Since then although she still isn't keen on other cats she has been rather content, likes to kick a ball around and is the first to come up to you for a stroke. She also likes her food, which shows as she's looking rather podgy after being with us for nearly a year (this slim photo is one for the fridge door!)

Bluebell2

Bluebell 2 - approximately 4 years

Bluebell 2 was a stray that has just arrived at the Animal Hostel Trust and is still to settle down; she has a beautiful colouring but unfortunately this photo doesn't do her justice. According to people who knew her as a stray she would think nothing of crying for food at the back door until she got her own way and coming through the cat flap and making herself at home on your chair while you wasn't at home. With a little tlc, patience and loads of food I'm sure she'd learn to trust again; and of course think nothing of making herself at home on your chair!

Frankie

Frankie approximately 4 ½ years

Frankie is a beautiful looking cat who is very vocal and rather amusing! However, as he is in a room full of ladies I'm sure it's a cry for help to take him away from their nagging!

Kittens

tabby kitten

We are one of the few organisations that seem to have kittens all year round.

Some litters are very straight-forward, born in captivity, often at the cattery. However, there are some kittens that need more support and patience due to spending their first few weeks in the wild.

Either way, we endeavour to find safe and responsible homes for these youngsters.

If you think you may be able to offer one, or even two, of our cats or kittens a good home, please contact us.
